Working through them at your own pace, you’ll complete online assessments and practical assessments that will be signed off by an assessor.
You’ll also have your own tutor who can give you as much or as little extra help as you require.
What is the Industry Standard for Fitness Qualifications?
When looking for the best fitness course, the first and most important thing to is whether it meets the industry standards. Look for a standard code in the course title e.g. SIS30315 or SIS40215. You can then go online to the government website, Training.gov.au and do an online search to check that the course you’re registering for meets current standards.
Are Fit Educations Courses Nationally Recognised?
Fit Education (formally Fitnance) is a Registered Training Organisation in accordance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). All of the courses offered are up to date and nationally recognised under the SIS Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package. This means that your qualification will be recognised throughout Australia.
Completing a nationally recognised course also means that you’ll be able to register with Fitness Australia. This will give you an easily recognised, professional credential as well as the relevant insurance that you’ll need to work as a fitness professional.

How Long Does It Take to Complete Fit Education’s Online Courses?
The time it takes to complete Certificate III and IV in Fitness depends on how quickly you can complete the modules, assessments and practical days. If you’re keen to get qualified as soon as possible, we’ve had students finish the course material within a couple of months.
However, if you’ve got less time available for study, aim to complete each certificate within 12 months. Extensions are available upon application and are charged at $50 per month until completion.
